Not worth it

I wasted my money. Game is very awkward to control. There is no controling kick, the camera tosses you around ending ul scoring on yourself. Needs update.. bad!!

Awesome!!! Love it :)

I love the controls and what not. For me, everything "just works"! Love this app as is. Fun, weird and creative :P Seriously though. I honestly love this app soooo much! :D

Yeeeees!

Dynasty mode and player names/stats please. Even if the names are fake. Otherwise very good game, easily worth a dollar

Offence

Why is there pretty much every country but Poland I find it offensive to is Polish people that our country is not in this game I demand a refund or an update adding Poland.

Good game!

Really good game but too easy

Bad!!!!!!!

I hate this game!!!!!!!!

Supafresh!

This game is seriously fun, the controls were a bit weird at the start, but after a few games it was easy. Ive already won the world cup. This is one of the most original games ive played in a while.

Almost perfect!

The game is better than I thought it would be. The controls are unique but they work well but pay attention to the white arrow to keep knowing where to go. The player auto selection can create some confusing moments because once the player is changed you will face its field view that may be totally different from the player you were handling. You can turn if off and use the top right button to manually select the player. However, once you get use to the changes and all auto selection can be very handy. The word here is be patient and practice a bit before making your mind. I didnt master the game but Im enjoying it a lot. I just wish statistics: at least winnings/losses for each game mode apart (single match, world cup and so on).

An App Store gem

Please disregard all "bad control reviews. The controls are actually perfect; they just have a learning curve, like theres a learning curve to actually kicking a soccer ball for a goal. Thankfully, it only takes two or three games to get acclimated, and after that the game is pure, unadulterated fun. Think Touchgrind (another game with a learning curve), but with cutthroat competition. Each team has slightly different AI to make each game a different experience, One of my current favorite games on the platform, and one that couldnt really exist in any other.

Good idea but currently unplayable

Update: Dont disregard just because I say the controls are bad. I did give it 5 or 6 games before reviewing. I feel the idea of the movement control is poor. This isnt about learning curve, it is about a poor concept. I like the kicking control. Original review: I like a few aspects of this app so I will keep it on my iPod for potential updates but for now it is basically unplayable. Problems: 1. The first person view is very clunky and you dont even know which direction you are going most of the time. You need to set perspective up as behind the back of the player and be slightly above the field. 2. The swipe to move is just no replacement for a virtual joystick. At least as an alternate option. Swipe to kick and to spin the shot is great but not for movement also. Tilt movement is not much better. Whats good: 1. Walled arena...good idea adds some humor and unpredictability to the game as you can score goals off of the walls. 2. Stats, countries, cups etc. Just because it is cartoonish doesnt mean it needs to lack depth so I like that. 3. I dont think anyone else is doing the swipe for kicking gimmick. I like that the ball turns white when you are in range to kick it. Just be careful you dont swipe the device out of your hands when playing. That is one problem with swiping in many areas of the screen at once. Two stars for now. ..

What a blast!

This game is a blast to play. I really like the movement and ball playing controls. So simple and quick to learn. The swipe to move is so much better than a joystick.

AMAZING!!!!!!

Once you get used to the controls, it is the best soccer game in the app store! Should be in the top 10 overall! Best .99 Ive spent!

Completely Underated

Awesome game and a very unique way of playing. It takes a little bit to get the hang of the controls, but once you do, its sweet to the max. Im suprised its getting so many low ratings.

Possibly my most-played game

I have to admit that it took a long time for me to get used to the controls, but once I did I found that I ended up playing this game all the time, almost always in an 18-game, two-minutes-per-game league where I play England (which may be a little odd as Im from the US!). Yes, the controls are strange. To move a player forward you swipe from the top half of the screen to the bottom half. It sounds backwards, but it makes sense when you think of it as the way rowing a boat works. To kick the ball you swipe upwards from the bottom of the screen to the top. You can apply "english" to the ball depending on the way you swipe, even to the point of bending the ball around opposing players. Thats not easy to master, however. I started out at the easy level and was beaten almost all the time. I kept playing, though, and eventually moved up to medium and then on to hard (they call the levels Amateur, Semi-Pro and Pro). Yes, many of the reviews say the controls are crazy. However, its worth practicing because once you "get it" the game is incredibly fun to play. I can take a 10-minute break and play three complete league games. I can often win the league but not every time, so even though Ive "mastered" the game theres still some challenge to it and it hasnt gotten boring at all. Theres also a World Cup tournament mode, as well as skills challenges. Some of those are incredibly difficult (in a fun sort of way). I may never be able to score 5 out of 10 free kicks against Germany as it seems almost impossible to bend the ball around all their players, but I still keep trying it every now and then. You can set the games to be as long as 6 minutes, although I keep it at 2 minutes. You can also use the tilt sensors to move the players, but I havent actually tried this since my first few games. It was impossible to control at the time because I was still learning how to move the players but now that I know how to play the game it might add a new dimension to the play. You can also play against someone via Bluetooth but Ive never tried that either. If you like soccer/football youll probably like this game, but it *will* take you quite some time to get used to the controls. I have found it worth the effort, although I can see how others may give up before getting good at it simply because its hard to master how the game works. Theres a practice mode where its your 5 players against only a goalkeeper, so you can work on it until you get the idea. I spent a lot of time in that mode until I felt confident enough to play against a full team, and even then I got beat pretty much all the time until I got used to the game. But putting in that time has paid off as I play this game all the time and enjoy it immensely. I almost never write reviews, and certainly not ones this long, but Ive gotten so much enjoyment from the game that I wanted to try to balance out the negative reviews a little bit. If you look at the chart, you can kind of see theres an odd distribution of ratings. Almost nobody is in the middle, and practically everyone else loves it except for the people who gave it only one star. If an apps truly bad youd probably see a few five-stars and a ton of one-stars, with a slow increase along the way. That this game has a lot of one-stars and a lot of five-stars with not much in the middle says to me that the people who get the controls love the game, while others dont get it and therefore hate the game. Im obviously in the group that loves it.

Bad

You dont even know which direction you are going in!!! Really stupid

REALLY GOOD

the game is one of the best soccer games on the app store you just gotta play a few games and then you will be able to control the player as you want but if you just load it then make a game and you dont get the controls and then delete it you will never realize how great this game is thanx for the update with the global cup groups

Uniform color

The Portuguese uniform is red green not red yellow

Really fun game

The game is very fun...once you get used to it. I found the controls a little dinky until you played the game for a while. Once you get the basics down, youre good to go.

Goals

I want to be able to score from either half instead oh just the other teams half

Good

This is a fun game I really like it but you cant really see which way your going
